By providing your authorization, you grant Universal 1 Credit Union permission to initiate an ACH external transfer, either to credit or debit an account or loan at another financial institution (FI), or to credit or debit a Universal 1 Credit Union account or loan. In compliance with Nacha® rules and regulations, we are required to keep an authorization on file to process electronic requests. By agreeing, you confirm that you will adhere to U.S. laws and will not initiate any transactions that violate such laws.

This authorization will remain in effect until Universal 1 Credit Union receives your notification of any changes or termination, in a timely manner, allowing both Universal 1 Credit Union and the receiving financial institution adequate time to process the request. You agree to maintain sufficient funds in your account to cover the transfers; if not, Universal 1 Credit Union may cancel the transaction.

By authorizing this transaction, you confirm that you are an authorized account holder for the account being debited. You acknowledge that additional security measures may be required before the transaction is completed, and if the external account is being debited, proof of account ownership may be necessary.

Any changes or cancellations to an ACH transaction must be submitted to Universal 1 Credit Union by phone, mail, in person, or through Online Banking. Requests must be received at least three (3) business days prior to the disbursement date to allow adequate time for processing by Universal 1 Credit Union and the receiving institution.

Funds must be available in your Universal 1 Credit Union account at least two (2) business days before the ACH is scheduled for processing. The withdrawal will occur on the scheduled disbursement date. If sufficient funds are not available, fees may apply. Universal 1 Credit Union reserves the right to suspend or terminate this agreement at its discretion if it determines that you have violated the rules.

If an ACH transaction is scheduled for a weekend or federal holiday, it will be processed on the next business day.

To proceed with this request, you must agree to the following:

  • You are an authorized signer on the account.
  • You acknowledge receipt of this disclosure.
  • By accepting this disclosure, you give your consent for this request.
  • You may request a copy of this disclosure by calling 1-800-543-5000.
  • All requests are subject to review, and if we are unable to process your request, you will be contacted on the next business day.

Universal 1 Credit Union reserves the right to audit and request documentation to ensure compliance with this agreement and its rules, and you agree to cooperate fully with such requests.
