More than 1,800 institutions now participate in CO-OP Shared Branching, representing thousands of locations in 50 states.
CO-OP Shared Branching provides:
- Over 5,000 nationwide branch locations and over 2,200 kiosks near your work, home, shopping and travel destinations.
- Ability to make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account inquiries and other transactions as if you were at a U1 location.
- Access to accounts even when you move, go on a vacation or you're out of town in an emergency.
- The convenience that makes you feel U1 is doing everything 'Beyond what you Expect'!
All Shared Branching Transaction Require:
Credit Union Name | Account Number | Valid Government Issued ID | Verification of SSN

To be more competitive with banks, credit unions cooperate in 'sharing' their branches to offer more location to their members. Shared Branching transactions are slightly different from transactions performed at your credit union. Tellers at Shared Branching location strive to complete your transactions in an efficient manner in accordance with the Shared Branching Rules
- Disruptive or abusive behavior will result in denied access.
- Contact your credit union to resolve any issues.
- Funds availability is determined by your credit union.
