Members can also request a paper proxy by calling 844-830-2315. All proxies must be received by January 9, 2024 to be validated prior to the Annual Meeting.

Each member in good standing is encouraged to submit a proxy vote to be cast in the member’s behalf to elect another member to serve on the credit union’s Board of Directors.

The Universal 1 Credit Union Nominating Committee has nominated for re-election Rosemary D. Domansky. Makell C. Baccus has been nominated as a new candidate for election.  All are seeking a three-year term on the Board of Directors.  The Nominating Committee includes Chairperson Jeffrey W. Gammell, Gammell, Ross & Hoshor, Nancy J. Stapp, Midmark Corporation, and Mo Dillon, Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Candidates were nominated based on individual qualifications, past association with the Credit Union and personal concern for representing the interests of fellow Credit Union Shareowners.  All Directors, with the exception of the President/CEO, volunteer their time while serving on the Board.  The candidates for the Board of Directors are:

ROSEMARY D. DOMANSKY
Rosemary Domansky retired from Dayton Lamina Corporation in 2022 after 36 years of service.  A graduate of Ohio University, Mrs. Domansky earned a degree in Journalism.  She formerly chaired the Dayton Tooling and Machining Association’s Safety Committee and served on the Board of Therapeutic Riding Institute, Inc.  She has been a Credit Union member since 1991 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2012.  Mrs. Domansky has served on various committees including chairing the Nominating Committee in 2022.  She currently serves on the Loan and Account Services Committee. 

MAKELL C. BACCUS
Makell Baccus is a Social Program Manager for Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services.  She has been employed there since 2004.  A graduate of Wright State University, Ms. Baccus earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services and a Master of Science in Leadership Development. Ms. Baccus is active with the Dayton Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Women’s Council and a graduate of the Empower Program.  She is active in the community which includes Community Review Team Member FIMR for Public Health Dayton & Montgomery County, Midwest Partners SNAP Steering Committee Member for USDA Food and Nutrition Services, and Board Chief Administrative Officer for My Sister's Keeper.
